It was a literal dream come true to be able to play for the wonderful people of my town at our Summer Pops concert this year, hosted by the fabulous Chorus of Westerly! This year’s show included guest appearances by Big Lux and Mary Kate Morrissey, as well as canon fire, fireworks, and the ringing of our Christ Church bells. The weather was perfect and the event drew a crowd in excess of 25,000 people! Truly a dream come true.
I had a blast working with the super-talented DJ C@ In the H@ from Birmingham, England to create “The Lost Rag.” We took my ragtime piano style and combined it with his electro-swing vibes to bring you “Electro-Ragtime” - an almost entirely unexplored genre! C@ also has some mad video-editing skills and put together this awesome music video… And yes, that’s me in the middle and again at the end ;-)
